SAFINA MATERIALS offers thin film (PVD) industry pellets, shot, slugs, and thermal and E-Beam evaporation starter sources.

Precious metal pellets, shot, slugs, and evaporation materials are custom manufactured to customers’ requirements. SAFINA MATERIALS manufactures and supplies the following metals:

Additional information

  • Safina Materials also manufactures hard-to-find platinum-group metals including iridium pellets, palladium pellets and rhodium pellets. All pellets are available in standard 1/4″ x 1/4″ or 1/8″ x 1/8″, and we also provide custom sizes according to customer specifications.
  • High purity products for physical vapor deposition are offered with a multi-step cleaning process and vacuum packaged for shipment and storage.
  • Pellets are vacuum cast to minimize dissolved gases. Atmospheric casting (used for coins and bullion) can trap impurities that are released during the deposition process

Pellets purity

  • Gold pellets are available in 99.99% or optional 99.999% purity – 5N gold Au pellets come with GDMS analysis results and certification. 5N Gold Au certification requires full analysis of all elements, while 4N Gold Au purity only requires ICP analysis of 10 common elements.
  • Iridium pellets are available as 99.9% or 99.97% purity.
  • Rhodium pellets are available as 99.9% or 99.97% purity.

SAFINA MATERIALS offers a complete range of evaporative pellets. Each order is packaged individually, so we offer any volume according to your needs. Typical shipments are from stock to up to 3 weeks.

We also take back scrap material at generous rates.
